New Apps for NFC-Based Digital Product Passports

We have launched two new Android apps: iID®NDPPreader and iID®NDPPwriter. Both apps are available free of charge on Google Play.

Digital Product Passports are becoming increasingly important for transparent, sustainable, and connected products. Businesses therefore need simple solutions to create and access product information.

The iID®NDPPwriter enables users to write Digital Product Passport data to compatible NFC tags. With the iID®NDPPreader, this information can be accessed instantly by tapping the NFC tag with an NFC-enabled Android smartphone.

As a GS1 Germany Solution Partner, we combine NFC technology with globally recognized GS1 standards. This supports the unique identification and interoperable exchange of product data throughout the product lifecycle and across the value chain.

With our new apps, we make NFC-based Digital Product Passports easy to create, access, and use.
